Baseball Bytes: Friday, June 14th


The First State Bank American Legion Reserve Baseball team picked up a 12-0 win over Elkhorn South, at the Schilke Complex, last night.  The Reserves will play in the Omaha South Tournament, this weekend.

Tonight, the Blair Jr/Sr legion baseball teams play at Plattsmouth. The juniors play at 5:30 and the seniors play at 8:00.


In Dodge County Baseball League action last night, Wahoo defeated West Point, 5-2.  Dodge defeated North Bend, 14-5 and Leigh/Schuyler defeated Blair, 6-0.

Fremont Moo

The Fremont Moo picked up a 4-0 victory over the Casper Horseheads at Moller Field, last night.  Fremont begins a seven-game road trip, starting tonight at Pierre, versus the Trappers, at 7:05pm.

Lincoln Saltdogs

Ivan Marin had two more hits and his sixth multi-hit game of the year, but the ‘Dogs gave up nine unanswered runs in a 9-2 loss to the Explorers Thursday night at MercyOne Field.

Lincoln continues a seven-game roadtrip with three games in Sioux Falls over the weekend. First pitch time from the Birdcage on Friday is set for 7:05 p.m.
