Street Plans, Addition of Ice Skate Pond to City Parks among the Approvals by the Blair City Council

BLAIR –  A Conditional Use permit request by the Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency to allow a combined office and day program for people with developmental disabilities was approved by the Blair City Council at last night’s meeting.  The One and Six Year streets plan was approved as well.  Rich Warrick was a long time Blair City employee who passed away about 7 years ago.  A proposal to name the ice skating area near 19th and Washington as “Rich Warrick Memorial Park” was appreciated by the Warrick family.  His daughter, Morgan Actonkamp, addressed the council, saying her family appreciates the memorial and that her father would too. That skating area will be incorporated into the Blair Parks System.
