FREMONT – The Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity will host it’s annual Beams & Dreams gala fundraiser on April 6th at the Fremont Golf Club, and they’re offering an early bird discount to those who purchase tickets before March 16th.
The annual Beams & Dreams fundraiser includes a cocktail hour, silent auction, boutique shopping, a gourmet dinner and a “talent show” featuring local acts that patrons can cast votes toward for best act of the night.
Of the talent show, Joy McCabe says it’s always entertaining. “It’s kind of like America’s Got Talent, but for Fremont.”
Before the talent show, the event will feature two important speakers: the now-grown sons of Fremont’s very first Habitat home owner. Trino and Jose Nuno, who each grew up in their family’s Habitat home, became college graduates, and most recently: medical professionals. Trino is a dentist in Omaha, and Jose enjoys a career as a physician’s assistant in Norfolk. Both brothers will speak about their experiences growing up with a stable home, thanks to Habitat for Humanity, and how that helped them achieve their own life goals.
Earlybird tickets are on sale now, with discounted pricing through March 15th. To learn more about the talent show and Beams & Dreams, check out the Fremont Area Habitat page on Facebook. Go to https://www.fremonthabitat.org/involve/beams-dreams-2019.html to purchase your tickets.
