Arlington Public Schools Names New Superintendent

BLAIR – 45 people applied to become the new superintendent of Arlington Public Schools, that field was narrowed to four candidates:  Dr. Timothy Ridder of Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado;  Randy Page of Freeman Public Schools in Adams; Dr. Scott Blum of Waverly Public Schools and Dr. Dawn Lewis, superintendent of Arnold and Callaway Public Schools of Arnold.  Arlington School Board President Matt O’Daniel says Dr. Dawn Lewis has been selected.  She and her family will move to Arlington and their children will be enrolled in Arlington Public Schools.  Dr.  Lewis will start in July, current superintendent Lynn Johnson is retiring.
