Harrison County Deputies Handle Dog Issues, Domestic Squabbles

BLAIR – A family in Persia, Iowa must find a new home for a pit bull dog after the animal bit one of the children.  The Harrison County, Iowa Sheriff’s office says the owner of the dog was advised of the county’s ordinance banning pit bulls. Another pit bull owner  near Highway 127 received notification of the ban on that breed.  Deputies also dealt with a number of domestic disputes and warrant arrests according to the sheriff’s office.
